This works by creating a CNAME from a domain or host you control to point at our NIP05 ID endpoint cname01.easynostr.com. Once you setup the DNS in your zone, our system will detect it and generate a Lets Encrypt cert for your domain. Once that's in place you're good to go.

It takes about 90 seconds.

Some work-arounds:

1. If it's because your DNS provider doesn't support zone apex aliasing, switch to one that does, like easyDNS


2. If it's because you can't move your domain from where it's pointed now, create a subdomain, like nostr.{example.com} and CNAME that here.


3. If you can't use your main domain (example.com), register a new domain for use with your Nostr NIP05 id like example.net or some other TLD. (
